A lot has happened in the last few months. Samuel W. Gailey and I helped get Lenny Dykstra's Memoir A Life On The Edge to the New York Times Bestseller list in July. More importantly, we helped him see his dream come true of writing his life story. That same month, we packed up over twenty years of life in L.A. and moved to the remote island of Orcas, between Vancouver and Washington. More on that later. Our writing and helping other writers helped make that dream come true. Now, we have found a way to share what we do for authors and publishers, but in an affordable fashion for everyone. We created the non-profit Novel Lab, which includes free workshops for teens, adult workshops on Orcas Island and an online version of our novel-writing techniques that we used with each other and clients.
